New Build Facades

One supplier for every new build facade

New build construction demands facade systems that deliver on three fronts at once: thermal performance to meet tightening Building Regulations, design flexibility to satisfy planners and purchasers, and speed of installation to keep programmes on track.

Licata supplies complete render and EWI systems for every new build substrate: from traditional blockwork and brick through to ICF, steel frame and timber frame. Each system is supplied with full technical documentation, NBS specifications and CAD details, supported by U-value calculations from our technical team.

With thin coat renders in over 600 colours and insulated brick slip facades that replicate traditional brickwork, developers can achieve any design intent, whether contemporary, traditional or mixed, from a single, compatible system supplier.

Regulatory Drivers

Built to meet the standards ahead

Part L: Conservation of Fuel and Power
New dwellings must meet demanding fabric U-value targets. Licata EWI and insulated render systems achieve Part L wall U-values with practical insulation thicknesses across all substrate types.
Future Homes Standard
The next uplift in new build energy performance demands a fabric-first approach. Licata systems support the lower U-values and improved thermal bridging detailing the standard requires.
Part B: Fire Safety
For buildings over 11 metres, non-combustible mineral wool systems are available. Our technical team confirms the appropriate system and fire classification for each project's height and use class.
NHBC & Warranty Provider Requirements
Structural warranty providers set requirements for render and EWI systems on new build. Licata holds BBA and KIWA certification on selected systems. Speak to our team to confirm acceptance for your warranty provider.
Every Substrate Covered

Systems for every new build construction method

Whatever the structural approach, Licata has a tested render or EWI system designed for it, with the correct primers, basecoats and detailing for each substrate type.

Blockwork
Render systems for concrete blockwork and aircrete, including lightweight basecoats designed for low-density aircrete backgrounds.
Brickwork
Direct render systems for new brickwork with optional levelling coats, with silicone or acrylic thin coat finishes.
Steel Frame
A1 fibre cement sheathing board systems for light gauge steel frame: render carrier or full EWI build-ups.
Timber Frame
EWI systems for timber frame construction with sheathing board, mineral wool insulation and render or brick slip finishes.
ICF
Direct-applied render systems for insulating concrete formwork: basecoat and finish applied straight to the EPS formwork.
Concrete
Render systems for in-situ and precast concrete with bonding primers for dense, low-suction surfaces.
Modular & Offsite
Factory-applied or site-finished facade systems for volumetric modular and panelised construction.
SIPS & Panel Systems
Render carrier board solutions for structural insulated panels and lightweight panel construction.
