From a Sicilian factory floor to six branches across England
Licata SpA began manufacturing renders, mortars and building products in Canicattì, Sicily in 1962. Over six decades, the family business grew into one of Italy's respected manufacturers of facade systems, building its reputation on rigorous formulation, in-house R&D laboratories and products engineered for the Mediterranean's demanding climate extremes.
Licata Building Systems was established to bring that manufacturing pedigree to the UK, pairing Italian-made products with British technical support, local stockholding and an understanding of UK Building Regulations, certification and construction practice.
Today we supply complete EWI, render, brick slip, waterproofing, concrete repair and flooring systems from six branches across England, serving architects, contractors, housing providers and property owners under one promise: New Build. Rebuild. Renovate.

Every Licata product starts in the Licata SpA R&D laboratory, where formulations are developed, tested and refined before they ever reach a building site. From controlled hygrometric shrinkage in our plastering mortars to the UV stability of our silicone renders, performance is engineered in at the formulation stage.
