Balanced design, natural slate at the fore
Featuring simple, balanced design, the CUPACLAD 101 Logic rainscreen cladding system puts the texture and sheen of natural slate right to the fore.
CUPACLAD 101 Logic is part of the CUPACLAD 101 series, made up of systems with invisible fixings that make natural slate the main attraction of a facade.
The system gives any facade balance, combines ideally with other materials, and flaunts natural slate's texture and sheen. It is well suited to residential, hotel and commercial projects where the slate itself is intended to be the defining feature of the elevation.
CUPACLAD 101 Logic at a glance
The CUPACLAD 101 Logic system is made up of 40x20cm slates installed horizontally using invisible fixing systems.
Invisible fixings, engineered for slate
The CUPACLAD 101 series systems share a single fixing system with self-drilling screws designed specifically by CUPA engineers to ensure optimum slate rainscreen cladding installation, while remaining totally invisible so the design is not affected.
The screws are made from stainless steel and feature a large diameter flat head to ensure and facilitate proper fixing of the slate.
Because the fixing is concealed, the finished elevation reads as a continuous slate surface with no visible clips or fasteners interrupting the face.
Where CUPACLAD 101 Logic suits
Slate as the feature
Where the elevation is intended to read as natural slate, with no visible fixings to interrupt the surface. The simplest and most balanced of the 101 series.
Mixed material facades
The regular horizontal coursing combines well with render, brick, glazing and timber, making it a natural choice where slate forms part of a wider material palette.
Ventilated rainscreen build-ups
Installed as a ventilated rainscreen over a supporting subframe, working alongside insulation to manage moisture and thermal performance across the facade.
