LicaCem 200
Plastering mortar — GP class to UNI EN 998-1, controlled hygrometric shrinkage, 10–25 mm single coat
LicaCem 200 is a polymer-modified plastering mortar based on white lime and cement, with controlled hygrometric shrinkage. It can be applied in thicknesses of 10–25 mm in a single coat — minimising cracking throughout the application, plastic phase and curing stages. Excellent workability, thixotropy and binding power. Suitable for interior and exterior use on brick, blockwork and concrete substrates.
Why specify LicaCem 200?
10–25 mm in a Single Coat
LicaCem 200 can be applied in thicknesses from 10 to 25 mm in a single coat — by hand or by machine. For thicknesses above 25 mm, additional coats can be applied waiting at least one day between each.
Controlled Hygrometric Shrinkage
The special formulation of LicaCem 200 minimises the appearance of hairline cracks and splits throughout the product's life cycle — from application through the plastic phase to full cure at 28 days.
Hand or Machine Application
Suitable for both hand and machine application, LicaCem 200 is versatile enough to meet all worksite requirements. Its excellent thixotropy and workability make it easy to apply and finish on any scale of project.
A1 Fire Resistance
LicaCem 200 achieves A1 fire resistance classification to EN 13501-1 — the highest reaction to fire classification. Fully compatible with non-combustible EWI systems including all Licata mineral wool systems.
CS III Compressive Strength
Classified CS III for compressive strength to UNI EN 998-1 — suitable for use as a structural plastering base and levelling coat on masonry and concrete substrates requiring a strong, stable undercoat.
Ideal Base for Thin Decorative Finishes
When smoothed with Raso Top 800, Raso W160 or Raso R140, LicaCem 200 provides an ideal substrate for thin decorative plasters, silicate and siloxane coatings, and paint systems.
Performance to UNI EN 998-1
LicaCem 200 is classified as a GP (General Purpose) plastering mortar to UNI EN 998-1. Its declared performance covers compressive strength, adhesion, capillary absorption, water vapour permeability, thermal conductivity and fire resistance.
Where to use LicaCem 200
On concrete and smooth surfaces, pre-treat with LicaSpriz or Aggrappante LG bonding primer and apply LicaCem 200 within 12 hours. For different substrates, contact the Licata technical team.
