LicaBand BTS 100 is a self-adhesive elastic waterproofing tape from Licata — made with butyl rubber and unwoven polypropylene fabric for internal and external use. This waterproofing tape is designed for use alongside Licata's liquid waterproofing products, sealing perimeter joints, fractionating joints, floor-wall and wall-wall connections, corners and cracks. No special accessories required — no pre-formed corners or edges needed.

Excellent alkaline resistance makes this waterproofing tape suitable for use in cementitious environments — it maintains its performance over time even in contact with cement-based waterproofing products and substrates.
Waterproof
Resists hydrostatic pressure of ≥0.2 bar — providing a reliable waterproof seal at joints and connections when used as part of a complete Licata waterproofing system.
Excellent Adhesion to All Substrates
The butyl rubber adhesive backing of this waterproofing tape bonds to virtually all construction substrates — achieving peel adhesion of ≥13 N/20mm on neutral PVC in standard testing conditions.
LicaBand BTS 100 — Self-Adhesive Waterproofing Tape
LicaBand BTS 100 is Licata's self-adhesive elastic waterproofing tape — manufactured from butyl rubber with an unwoven polypropylene fabric facing for interior and exterior use. It is an integral part of Licata's waterproofing system, used to seal and reinforce the critical detail areas that liquid membranes alone cannot fully protect.
This waterproofing tape delivers high elasticity across its full width combined with outstanding adhesion and alkaline resistance. It requires no special accessories — corners are formed by simply cutting and folding the tape, and joints are made by overlapping the ends by at least 4cm. It can be painted over immediately after application, significantly reducing waiting times on site.
LicaBand BTS 100 waterproofing tape can be applied directly onto a prepared dry substrate, or onto the first coat of a fully dried Licata liquid waterproofing membrane. Do not leave this waterproofing tape exposed to UV rays long-term — it should be overcoated with the liquid waterproofing membrane.
