Repair 250 N — Structural Concrete Repair Mortar
Thixotropic, structural, fibre-reinforced polymer-modified cement mortar — classified R3 to UNI EN 1504-3 and certified to UNI EN 1504-2, for concrete repair at 3–30mm
Repair 250 N is Licata's thixotropic, polymer-modified structural repair mortar — manufactured with high-resistance hydraulic binders, selected aggregates, special additives and HT fibres. Designed for the reconstruction, protection and skim coating of concrete at variable thicknesses from 3 to 30mm, it delivers superior adhesion, excellent mechanical strength, and controlled hygrometric shrinkage that minimises cracking and peeling throughout the service life of the repair.
Why specify Repair 250 N structural concrete repair mortar?
Classified R3 — UNI EN 1504-3
Repair 250 N fully meets the bending strength and compressive resistance requirements for Class R3 under UNI EN 1504-3, achieving compressive strength exceeding 25 MPa and an elastic modulus above 15 GPa — satisfying the most demanding structural repair specifications.
Carbonation Protection — UNI EN 1504-2
Repair 250 N prevents atmospheric CO₂ from penetrating into the substrate, protecting the underlying concrete against carbonation in compliance with UNI EN 1504-2 Principle 1.3 (C). Capillary absorption is confirmed at ≤0.075 kg/m²h½.
Superior Adhesion Strength
As a polymer-modified mortar (PCC), Repair 250 N achieves adhesion exceeding 1.5 MPa and maintains that bond after frost cycles, heat exposure, thundershower simulation and chemical aggression — proof of long-term reliability in harsh environments.
HT Fibre Reinforced
High-tenacity fibres are incorporated throughout the mix, providing continuous reinforcement that increases flexural strength and, combined with the controlled-shrinkage formula, minimises the formation of cracks, fissures and peeling in the completed repair.
Thixotropic — Vertical & Overhead
Special additives deliver excellent thixotropy and wetting capacity, making Repair 250 N equally suited to vertical surfaces, soffits and overhead applications. It holds position immediately on application and will not slump under its own weight.
3–30mm in a Single Coat
Repair 250 N can be applied by hand or by machine in a single coat from 3 to 30mm — efficiently accommodating the full range of structural repair depths without the need for multiple thin build-up coats in most situations.
Repair 250 N — Polymer-Modified Structural Repair Mortar
Repair 250 N is Licata's thixotropic, structural, fibre-reinforced polymer-modified cement mortar — developed in the Licata R&D laboratories from high-resistance hydraulic binders, selected aggregates, pozzolanic additives and HT fibres. It is specifically designed for the reconstruction, protection and skim coating of concrete in structural repair applications.
With a maximum particle size of under 1.5mm and a finish quality that accepts paint or decorative treatments without further working, Repair 250 N delivers both structural performance and a consistently high aesthetic standard. It can be applied by hand or machine from 3 to 30mm in a single coat — and to greater depths by applying a second coat onto a fully hardened first.
Repair 250 N develops full resistance after 28 days of curing and can be levelled with a trowel at 80–120 minutes and overcoated or painted from 24 hours. It is fully compatible with BetonFIP Passivante as a primer coat on exposed reinforcement bars and with FinishPro 280 as a final skim coat layer.
