The single monocouche render layer is easily applied to blockwork or brick surfaces. It is coloured and water-resistant. And although it is technically one layer, a monocouche render is typically used in two passes that then merge to form the single layer in the name.

The surface of this type of render is able to be changed to create any type of texture that you or your client prefer. This includes dry-dashed, scraped, and roughcast.
