The Green Homes Grant – Make your home more energy efficient
Would you like to reduce your heating bill? Thinking about making your home more energy efficient? There has never been a better time to do so!
The Green Homes Grant is a new scheme that offers homeowners vouchers towards the cost of making energy-efficient improvements to their home. The vouchers will cover two-thirds of the cost, up to the value of £5,000. However If you currently receive certain benefits you may be eligible for vouchers that cover the entire cost of the improvements up to the value of £10,000.
External wall insulation (EWI) is a great and highly effective way to improve the thermal efficiency of your home. This works by reducing the amount of heat escaping through the walls, allowing your home to heat up quicker and stay warm for longer. This can reduce your heating bill on average by 30%!
EWI keeps your house warm and dry whilst protecting the building structure from weather damage and helping to prevent damp. An added bonus is you can feel good knowing you are doing your part to help the environment as EWI reduces carbon emissions! You can find more information on our external wall insulation systems here.
